Privacy Policy

Who this policy applies to

Test Mall ("we", "us") operates this online store through the EmallPOS app and website. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use it, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account details you give us: your name, email address, phone number and an encrypted password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google instead of you typing them.
• Delivery information: the addresses you save with us, including a recipient name, phone number, address and any delivery instructions you add.
• Order and transaction data: what you bought, the order total, delivery status, and any coupon, gift card, wallet or loyalty points you used. Card, UPI and net banking credentials are entered on the payment provider's own secure pages — we never receive or store them.
• Device and notification data: a push notification token for your device, so we can send order and delivery updates. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time.
• Location data: your approximate location, but only when you ask us to find stores near you or to check whether we deliver to your address. We do not track your location in the background.
• Technical data: device type, app and browser version, IP address and error logs, used to keep the app working and to detect fraud or abuse.
• Cookies and local storage: session and security cookies, and your last selected store.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account, process your orders, arrange delivery, and handle cancellations, returns and refunds.
• To send you order and delivery updates, and — only if you opt in — offers and product news.
• To answer your questions and resolve complaints.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• To meet our tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data.

• Our delivery partners, who receive your name, phone number and delivery address for the handover only.
• Razorpay, which processes payments on our behalf.
• Google, for Sign-In with Google and for address or distance look-ups.
• Expo, which delivers push notifications on our behalf.
• Government or law-enforcement authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

How long we keep it

• Order and invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically eight years from the invoice date.
• Your account and its personal data: until you delete your account or ask us to.
• Everything else: only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above.

How we protect it

Passwords are stored only as hashes and cannot be read back. Data is transferred over HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to staff and partners who need it to do their job. Payment credentials are handled entirely by the payment provider.

Your rights

Use the contact details at the end of this policy. We respond to every request within 30 days.

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your account and your personal data — see the Delete Your Account page for how.
• Withdraw your consent for marketing messages at any time.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.

Children's information

The app and this store are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
